I think that the way we were taught to create the blog was ideal. Prof Hupy told us how to create the initial blog page, the information we would need inside the blog, and how to create additional pages. I think with something this creatively driven, basic guidance and time to work is all that is required (and is actually ideal).

We have spent much time in previous courses analyzing the philosophical components of UAS. That is, the foundations that have made UAS possible and what UAS is comprised of. This was a good review and mental exercise, but we have done tasks like this before.

I already had very strong knowledge on this topic so I do not know if I gained much experience on this topic. However, for some people in the class this may have been a very important activity.

This was a good way to start off operating for the semester. I think this lab should stay in the senior capstone regardless of ability and knowledge of class.

Being that it was exposure to new aircraft, we were guaranteed to learn from this lab. I liked the concept of interacting with new equipment and provides insight into potential capabilities and limitations will be for our senior capstone project.

I like that there was significant design of the capstone project proposal by us students, even if there was some lead in project ideas provided. It made this activity fairly creative.

This activity was very important to the class and a great way to build field skills. I think that it was a strong lesson on large area UAS operations.
